Queensland University of Technology M&E Blocks

Demonstrating experience not experiments

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) needed to upgrade their laboratories in M&E blocks to maintain their quality facilities for students. Having worked with QUT since 2005, SHAPE understands the key drivers for the university. SHAPE focused on operating within a live environment and minimising disruption to the surrounding teaching areas, staff and students.

Emphasis was also placed on zero disturbance to the Air Quality Sampling Laboratory, an experiment that has been undertaken for the past 25 years. Any interference with the air quality would have destroyed 25 years worth of work. SHAPE focused on this vital requirement and managed to complete the project with no disturbance to this important research experiment, as well as a seamless footprint to other university operations.
