University of Sydney, Fisher Library

Study spaces increase learning capability

The refurbishment of the Fisher Library at the University of Sydney within a fully operational environment required SHAPE to carefully consider business continuity. Delivering the project in 16 separate stages allowed the library to operate as usual for students and staff, but also provided a stunning new learning space.

The new rare books collection, quiet study pods, 24 hour library and learning environments have delivered a flexible study space that encourages both individual and group learning and provides freedom to use the space any time of the day.
