Canberra Hospital Ward 7B

Health and hygiene focus at Canberra Hospital

To meet patient demand, the Canberra Hospital engaged SHAPE to convert an existing auditorium into a new ward, with three rooms and two beds in each. As well as facing the noise constraints of working within a live environment, SHAPE  had to manage the risk of infection. Using hoardings, frequent cleaning and details site inductions, SHAPE successfully delivered this project without contaminating or disturbing patients in surrounding wards.

Future patients of Canberra Hospital now have a brand new high quality ward that successfully met the strict approval and certification requirements of the hospital.
