SHAPE  were engaged by the Attorney General to refurbish and renew the Downing Centre courtrooms on level 3. Works included the construction of segregated holding areas, interview rooms, amenities, judges’ chamber, jury deliberation room and public waiting areas.

SHAPE  were also responsible for overseeing the installation of new audio visual, such as integrated multimedia and HD video-link capabilities to allow for multi-accused court cases. Business continuity was a vital component of this project, with SHAPE  focusing on minimising disruption to the surrounding operational courtrooms during the project.
