Environment Protection Authority (EPA)

Innovative features for a 5 Star fitout

The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) wanted a two-level fitout for its SA headquarters at 250 Victoria Square, a 6 Star energy efficient rated building. The client’s aim was a 5 Star Green Star fitout with innovative features and a high end finish. The project has since been awarded a 5 Star Green Star certified rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.

Safe delivery was paramount

Services needed to be installed in the ceilings and the floors so safety was a major consideration. SHAPE split each floor in half. While subcontractors in one half worked on the floor, those on the other side worked on the ceiling. Work areas could only be opened by SHAPE staff. Thanks to SHAPE’s procedures the project was handed over safely and on time.
