FaHCSIA, Kanunarra

On time delivery and no disruptions to staff

The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) required a new office in Kununurra. SHAPE was engaged to deliver a design and construct project for the FaHCSIA. The design was to incorporate Management offices, an open plan work area for 12 people, a break out space, IT room, conference room and interview room. The project design had to comply with Government policies in regards to IT, security signage.

The office space needed to be occupied by FaHCSIA during construction, so the project was staged and temporary walls were constructed with sound insulation to minimise construction noise. SHAPE ensured minimal disruption to the client by completing works before and after hours to avoid interfering with their operational hours.

Testimonial

“SHAPE not only managed to complete the works on time, but importantly, was able to do so ensuring minimal disruption to staff. The overall quality of the work, and the site-management by SHAPE, was excellent”.
