New facility created to meet best practice standards for accessible facilities

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the government department that manages improving care for those with disabilities. SHAPE  was engaged by the client to complete a fresh and inviting fitout for staff and patrons. The scope for the Elizabeth and St Mary’s site consisted of a front-of-house public area with reception, waiting and children’s play area, conversation areas, facilities and a building upgrade to ensure access compliance. The back-of-house zone comprised offices, a server room, open plan workstations, meeting rooms, utility areas, breakout spaces and male and female ambulant accessible facilities.
