Delivering a reconfigured floor plate to produce rentable office space

SHAPE was engaged by Bothkamp Pty Ltd to manage the reconfiguration of a 540sqm floor plate on Level 1, 16 Bennett Street. Conveniently located in Darwin’s CBD, the client required 3 different sized rentable office spaces for tenants, the addition of a new accessible bathroom, and an update to existing bathroom, toilet, shower and kitchen facilities.

Working to a tight scHedule

SHAPE designed a five week programme that took into consideration a two week Christmas break. To deliver this time critical project and adhere to the condensed sceldule, demolition work occurred outside of normal business hours. SHAPE negotiated with the ground level tenants, NT Major Events to gain access and create the core holes for the new access bathroom. Within three weeks of building works, the outcome was a new floor configuration with refurbished facilities to offering a contemporary appeal to potential tenants.
