A modern and professional fitout for Optus staff 

Optus engaged SHAPE to provide a new, energizing space for staff whilst consolidating the amount of space leased within 367 Collins Street. The scope included an upgrade of existing services to improve business performance, a new front of house area with high quality finishes, and a new executive floor with main reception, videoconferencing, meeting areas and telepresence facilities. The fitout also allowed Optus to upgrade their communications capabilities through the construction of nine hub rooms, two server rooms and two IT run-up rooms for testing new systems.

 

It was vital that SHAPE  handover the hub and server rooms two weeks prior to the scheduled PC date to allow Optus’ IT services the time to prepare floors for staff occupation. SHAPE  was able to meet the project completion dates though discussions with trades and liaising with the client and other specialists to ensure the revised scope was clearly defined and programme was accurate.
