The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child  Sexual Abuse

Sophisticated and functional space for The Royal Commission

SHAPE  was engaged by the client to complete an extensive fitout of three floors to provide specialist accommodation to conduct the Royal Commission. The clients aim was to create a functional space that would meet a specific need for a welcoming and comfortable environment for the general public and the staff of the Royal Commission. The fitout included hearing rooms, specialised AV equipment, public reception areas, meeting rooms and commissioner and counsellor offices. Furthermore, adaptive re-use was carried out on one level, utilising existing workstations and floor coverings to minimise expenditure.
