Staff Dining Area, Australian Parliament House

Enhancing the Parliamentary dining experience

SHAPE was engaged by the Department of Parliamentary Services to complete an upgrade to all kitchens at Parliament House, as well as the staff dining room kitchen.

Due to the nature of the building, security and operational continuity were vital aspects of this project. SHAPE focused on minimising disruption to parliament staff, including politicians. Part of this process was ensuring that the project did not attract any media attention, causing further disruption to Parliament House.

SHAPE embraced the policies and procedures of the Department of Parliamentary Services to ensure security requirements were fulfilled. We also made certain that our subcontractors, and any other stakeholder involved on the project, adhered the parliamentary regulations for the duration of the project.
